Whatever is of GOOD REPORT…meditate on these things.

How many times do we wake up and head for the computer or our cell phone and read the news or read what others are reporting on their blogs or on Facebook?

I want to make sure I keep my priorities straight in this new age of technology. BEFORE I spend time reading the world’s perspective for my day, I want to spend time reading God’s perspective. I want to establish a daily time of reading the Bible, reading Bible-based devotions, and reading Christ-centered material BEFORE I spend time reading over the sites I normally visit. I want to start my day on the right foot, standing firm on God’s foundation.

The next healthy habit I want to build in my life is to FIRST take time to read God’s daily report for my soul before I start reading what the world has to say.

Healthy Habit #6: Read inspirational words from God FIRST to start my day.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever thing are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.

-Philippians 4:8, NKJV
