Whatever things are NOBLE...meditate on these things.

The second healthy habit let’s establish in our daily routine is to worship the Lord Most High.

So many people have TV or radio or news or ungodly music playing constantly. This feeds into our souls and influences our thoughts. This often agitates our emotions or sets us on edge. This turns us into worriers, people who fret, and can cause us to focus on unhealthy thoughts throughout the day.

Let’s stop in our tracks today and take control of what we’re feeding our minds, thoughts, and hearts. Let’s turn off the TV. Let’s turn off the news channel. Let’s turn off the radio as we drive to work.

Let’s turn on worship music instead. Let’s sing praise songs to God instead. Let’s fill our homes and offices with uplifting music that keeps our thoughts and our hearts focused on God and the hope that He offers to a lost and dying world.

Healthy Habit #2: Turn off the world’s noise and turn on the worship music instead.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever thing are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.

-Philippians 4:8, NKJV
